General Announcements:

Humanities:

• Due Fri., 5/4:Final draft of music essay due - five paragraphs/400-ish words.
• Due Fri., 5/4: Gr. 8: 2500 words of 8th grade project research paper. Share with Beth & John
• Due Fri., 5/4: Gr. 8: Read your novel, bring questions to discuss.

Math:

• Due Thurs., 5/3: Math's Mate 3.6, according to usual protocol, including any attached N/A problems.

Algebra A

• Due Tues., 5/8: p. 615, #33, 35, 37, 44, 60, 61, 66. These ask you to do three things:
  1. Write a quadratic equation in standard form: ax²+bx+c=0
  2. Factor the ax²+bx+c expression
  3. Use the factored form to find both solutions (x-intercepts).
  You must show some kind of check that demonstrates your factorization works. You will not get credit for solutions based on faulty factorization.
