How to use the sound file!!!

1) Have the paper "Como esta el clima" that you received  today in class with you.

2)\ On the paper you check mark different weather descriptions of your choice for each of these days), one for each exercise (exercise 1 to 5).

3)  Open the sound file to play it and listen to it. On the sound file you will hear my voice asking you how is the weather for all the five days of the week on your paper. After each question on the recording you pause the recording and answer out loud until you have covered all the questions on the recording.

recording : el lunes hace frio?     you: el lunes si (or no) hace frio.

Grade 8:
1) On the  the sound file you will find the narration of " Mi calendario de la semana".
Have your printed copy of " Mi calendario de la semana" with you and read along while you play the sound file. 
What you are looking for with this activity is to familiarize yourself more and more with the Spanish pronunciation. While doing this activity if you find words of phrases that you feel  are a bit challenging for you to say them out loud, play those parts of the recording a few times. Stop the recording and practice you saying them.

2) Use the paper you got in class today containing the questions related to the second half of "Mi calendario de la semana" and write answers for each of them with full sentences. . All these questions are based in the content of " Mi calendario de la semana",  therefor you should   use the printed story to help you find the answers.

1. Pay attention to times when you are having an unpleasant experience and you wish things were different (example: a difficult homework assignment).

2. Notice if the feeling of wanting things to be different adds to the unpleasantness.
Mindfulness: lesson 4

Find one minute each day to practice mindfulness.  You can choose from any of the following options:

1. Mindful eating
2. Mindful breathing
3. Mindful listening

4. Some other thing to focus your attention and awareness on.
