- March 16, 17 & 18 - Wed., 3/16 will be an early dismissal day (No Homework Club), and on Thurs., 3/17 and Fri., 3/18, there will be no school for students.
- Fridays: Hip-Hop Dance - The Prisms' next PE unit will be hip-hop dance class on Friday afternoons. Students need to wear or bring comfortable clothes and shoes for class.

Language Arts:
- Due Tues., 3/15: Complete the final copy of the essay by word processing it. Use the editing tools to find typos. Just transpose what you have written. Make no major changes from your revised and edited first draft. Paper clip the first draft and graphic organizer to the final copy.

- Due Tues., 3/15: Read pp. 158-161 in Physical Science text. Answer the following questions on p. 164: 1-3, 5, 7, 8. Answer in complete sentences on separate paper.

Before and After the Japanese Seismic Event
The Australian Broadcasting Company has posted an interesting set of photos related to last week's disaster in Japan. Each of the photos is made up of two satellite images: one from before the event and one after, each of the exact same place. You can slide back and forth between the two and compare.
