• #4: Write a paragraph (5-7 sentence minimum, on lined paper) describing the role of decomposer organisms in recycling nutrients and maintaining the flow of energy through an ecosystem.
• #5: What are some of the physical conditions that help microbial (tiny, single-celled organisms) decomposers do their work? (You can make a simple list.)
