Math:

• With 2 similar figures, how are their PERIMETERS related? How are their AREAS related?
• For Tuesday, 2/25: Answer all parts of pages 111-113 in your R and P journals...

8th Grade:

John's Group: 

due Tue., Feb 25: Algebra Textbook, pp 507-8 (Chapter 9.1) #23,26,29, the # 32-46 (odds only)

We learned that a solution to a quadratic equation actually means what its x-intercepts are; there are multiple ways to determine this. In addition to graphing, you might be able to find the square root(s) of the equation 

Humanities:

• Newspaper due pronto.
• Reading log #6 assignment due Thurs., 2/27
• Reflection on work habits due tomorrow
• Autobiography (1 page) due tomorrow

Science:   

• Have you gotten your hypothesis approved by me, or have you talked with your partner about your idea for an experiment? Come ready to work on this tomorrow, and BRING YOUR VIDEO RECORDING DEVICES TO SCHOOL if you have them! We will use them this week.

LEGOgraphy

Andrew Whyte has two photographic passions: long-exposure photography and his little LEGO photographer. His "LEGOgrapher" has been spotted pointing his camera at all kinds of interesting sights.
