STOOPID TALL: One Big Bike
Built for LA Cycling Event CicLAvia on a dare, this bike, nicknamed "STOOPID TALL" and "Big Boy" is 14½ feet from the seat to the ground - about 17 feet from eye level - and weighs over 100 pounds. It took builder Rick Hall about 12 hours of work to complete the structure, beginning with an old Huffy beach cruiser and some metal tubing. Hall and STOOPID TALL rider Richie Trimble are currently trying to construct and ride the world's tallest tandem bike.
