General Announcements:

• Monday, 9/10 - Parent meeting, 6:30-8 PM, 3^rd Floor Classroom
• Friday, 9/14 - All-day field trip to Tekoa Mountain outdoors in Chesterfield Forest. We will be in the woods and in the water, so dress accordingly. There will be no hot lunches or pizza, so make sure you have a lunch that you can bring with you and eat without heating. We will return by 3:45.

Other : 

• Due ASAP    You and your parents  should read over the  school 's Community Compact, (green handout given out today), that both you and your parents sign!

Humanities:

• Due Wed., 9/12: Read chapter 7 in What the Moon Saw and answer Reading Log questions.

• NEWS FOR YOU!  You now have a link to your textbook!  This  link will bring you to the Big Ideas Math Website, where you will choose your color/name of book.  Then you can search the entire textbook - like today's sample problems done together in class.  Check it out - you can search without a username and password in the "Home Edition".
