You must have an independent reading book every day. If you are getting close to the end of one, have the next one at school and ready to go. Math: 7th Grade:

• Due Tues., 10/20: Complete all parts of #2 on p. 27 of CMP book according to directions. Write your responses in complete, edited sentences. Show how you got your answer. You will need graph paper.

8th Grade:

• Due Tues., 10/20: Complete #1, 2 and 3 on p. 24 of CMP book. Treat these like test questions. Write your responses in complete, edited sentences. Show how you got your answer. You will need graph paper.

Social Studies:

• Due Tues., 10/20: Read "Solon/Democracy" reading and answer questions on p. 1
• Due Wed., 10/21: Answer the p. 2 questions about "Solon/Democracy" reading.

Science:

• None assigned

Language Arts:

• Due Wed., 10/21:
  • Read Ch. 7 in Goddess of Yesterday (12 pages).
  • On white, lined paper, write four quiz questions that would be appropriate for a quiz I might give on Ch. 7 and answer them.

Spanish:

• Bring home the note about our Día de los Muertos celebration, which will take place on Friday, 10/30/09 at 6:00 PM
