Human-Powered DJ Setup

Last year's Coachella music festival showed its commitment to environmentally-friendly creativity in a unique way: by creating a totally human powered DJ setup. Requiring at least 20 people to power it up, it provides several different ways for people to generate electricity, from human hamster wheels to stationary bikes to see-saws. Sounds like a party all its own.

    Blackout Poetry

Much like Nikita Nomerz and his public faces the other day, Austin Kleon's art is based on helping everyone else see what he does in things already there. In his case, he makes poetry by taking away words from articles rather than adding words. Click above to read more blackout poems, some by Kleon and some submitted by others.
