This baby's parents made a remarkably faithful cardboard replica of the time-machine car from the 80's sci-fi movie Back to the Future. It's really remarkable what you can do with cardboard and paint.

Inside Vegetables

Andy Ellison, a researcher at Boston University medical school, is putting his access to MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) technology to an awesome use, taking pictures of the insides of fruits an vegetables. An MRI shows different slices of an item without actually slicing it up. In vegetables, these reveal interesting and beautiful dynamic portraits of them. Who knew broccoli could look so much like fireworks?
