Homework -- 3/31

For tomorrow, Wednesday 4/1, wear comfortable clothes (i.e. no skirts) suitable for yoga. This activity is part of our study of movement and the human skeleton. NOTE: Students are to always have their current independent reading book with them in school. They should be reading for 20 minutes daily in their independent reading book. Language Arts Assigned today: None Previously assigned/still due: None Math Reminder: Everyone must have their own calculator at school. Assigned today: 7th Grade: None (Covering and Surrounding). 8th Grade: None (Looking for Pythagoras). Previously Assigned/still due: 7th: Due Wednesday, 4/1, Math's Mate Term 4, Sheet 4. 8th: Due Wednesday, 4/1, Math's Mate Term 3, Sheet 4. Note: When needed, you can always get grid paper from the internet. Social Studies Assigned today: None Previously Assigned/still due: None Science Assigned today: None Previously Assigned/still due: Due Wednesday, 4/1, read pp. 127-133, answer questions 1, 3-5 and Challenge #2 on p. 134. Spanish Assigned today: 7th Grade: None 8th Grade: Due Thursday, 4/2, read ch. 6 (the last chapter!). Previously Assigned/still due: 8th Grade: None 7th Grade & 8th Grade: Spanish Projects will be due Friday, 4/17 (after Spring Break). We will present them and enjoy Hispanic dishes that day!
8th Grade Project
  • Write something everyday in your journal (except weekends, unless otherwise arranged with advisor): entries should be dated and focused on how your independent project is going, your feelings about it, challenges, successes.
  • Journals are turned in every Friday morning (onto Marc's table). If we do not have school on Friday, they are turned in at the end of the day on Thursday.
Atelier
  • Due Wednesday, 4/1, finish first compositions. Place in "Other" homework bin in morning.

  • Spanish 8 - ch. 6
