What?! Bow ties are cool!

Nicholas Ruiz is committed to the bow tie. As an art form. Constructing them out of such unorthodox materials as film, Lego, wine corks and computer cords, his handcrafted bow ties have been exhibited, among other places, at the Museum of Modern Art. Live Tweeting the Titanic

This year marks the hundredth anniversary of the fateful voyage of the HMS Titanic, and different people are finding a variety of ways to mark the occasion. A British history publisher has taken it upon themselves to set up a Twitter feed (@TitanicRealTime) offering real-time updates on the ship and its travels, or, at least, real-time offset by 100 years. Current updates are from the shipyard, where interior decorating is still underway.
