• PE tomorrow - Bring sneakers/shoes you can run in (no flip flops or sandals for PE).
• Tues., 9/25:: Field trip to Glenwood to visit labyrinth and stone circle. Make sure to bring a lunch and wear sturdy walking shoes!

Co-designed by Canadian artist Rodney LaTourelle and German landscape architect Thilo Folkerts, this outdoor installation in Quebec is a labyrinth of old books, which are slowly returning to the forest. The above photo, taken a few months ago, is about two years into the installation. Click to see more images or see pictures from when it was first set up.

1)Make a list (using bullet points!) of the key steps of today's BIOASSESSMENT activity.  Write down the things we did to determine whether we have a healthy river habitat.

2)  Describe the specific technique of the KICKNET ( the tool we used to collect the insects).  How sis we use the kicknet to gather the insects - what did we do with the net?
