  • Coffeehouse, Smith Voc., Friday, Feb. We will be setting up for Coffeehouse on Friday afternoon until 4. Students should be picked up from Smith Voc at 4 and return between 5:30 and 5:45 for the show. We anticipate to be cleaned up and out by 9:45.

    I suppose it was the next inevitable pet shaming step. After the popularity of dog and cat shaming (for those not in the know, pet "shaming" involves taking pictures of pets with signs announcing their crime and posting them publicly). Fiber artist and backyard poultry keeper Amy Rawson posted a set of photos of her chickens, roosters and turkeys wearing signs announcing their misdeeds. I can't wait for alpaca shaming. Clearly, that is what must come next, if it hasn't already.

  • We learned that a solution to a quadratic equation actually means what its x-intercepts are; there are multiple ways to determine this. In addition to graphing, you might be able to find the square root(s) of the equation

    Andrew Whyte has two photographic passions: long-exposure photography and his little LEGO photographer. His "LEGOgrapher" has been spotted pointing his camera at all kinds of interesting sights.
