  • Friday, 9/14 - Outdoor adventure field trip. A waiver is coming home tomorrow, as well as a description of our day!

  • Due Monday, 9/10   You and your parents  should read over the  school 's Community Compact, (green handout given out today), that both you and your parents sign!

Humanities:
  • Due Mon., 9/10: Read Ch. 4 of What the Moon Saw and answer Reading Log questions. Reading log shared with you on Google Docs if you are missing the paper.
Math:
  • NEWS FOR YOU!  You now have a link to your textbook!  This  link will bring you to the Big Ideas Math Website, where you will choose your color/name of book.  Then you can search the entire textbook - like today's sample problems done together in class.  Check it out - you can search without a username and password in the "Home Edition".

This totally undoctored photograph follows the paths of moths through the air over time. The style, called "long-exposure" photography, lets a tiny bit of light onto the film or sensor of a still camera over a long period of time. Any motion appears as a trail or blur.

Shawn Clover examined historical photos taken after the disastrous 1906 earthquake in San Francisco, CA, identified landmarks still in the city, photographed them using the same framing, then merged aspects of the two photos to include aspects of both.
