General Announcements:
  • If you ever notice something missing or wrong on the blog, comment to let me know about it - I don't always have the whole picture. -Grace
  • Hip Hop PE Thursdays from now until the beginning of May. Wear or bring clothes you can dance in and sneakers.
  • Dance Fri., 4/27, 7:30-10 PM: Please bring snacks! We're dividing up the burden of snacks by name so that we get a variety:
      If your name begins with the letter:
    • A→E, please bring salty snacks like chips or pizza
    • F→M, please bring sweet snacks like cookies or brownies
    • N→Z, please bring drinks like juice, lemonade, iced tea or seltzer (no soda, please - everything ends up sticky!)
    If you are on cleanup, arrange to get picked up at 10:30. Everyone else should plan on leaving at 10 PM sharp.
  • Friday, 5/4: Grandparents/Grandfriends day
  • Friday, 5/4: HCCPS Music Festival, Helen Hills Hills Chapel
Humanities:

It's not obvious, but this skeletal mummy sculpture is made out of $200 worth of McDonald's burgers. The artist, who goes by BenEverywhere, ground up the burgers and mixed them with resin to form the sculpture. What would you call it? McMummy? McSkellington? Just plain gross?

All Terrain Wheels

These little sled/ski attachments can be added to small wheels, especially those on a wheelchair (though they're modeled on a stroller as well), to make it more snow-ready.
