General Announcements:

• If you ever notice something missing or wrong on the blog, comment to let me know about it - I don't always have the whole picture. -Grace
• Yoga Fridays - For the Fridays until February break, the Prisms should bring comfortable clothing for yoga class in the afternoon, and a mat if you have it. Last week we had enough mats for everyone if the two groups shared, but you may want to label your mat if you want to get the same one back. Mats may be stored at school through the week - there will be a box for them in the 3rd Floor Classroom where the class takes place.
• Eighth Grade Project resource page up, including project deadlines through Jan. 12 and downloadable documents. Page will be updated as I get new information.

Math:

• Grade 7:
  • Due Wed., 1/12: Complete 2.3 on p. 21.
  • All Students are to have their own centimeter ruler and protractor.
• Grade 8:
  • Due Fri., 1/14: Complete #1 on p. 10 and #4-9 on p. 12.
  • All students are to have a calculator.

Language Arts:

• Due Fri., 1/14: Be rehearsed for your oral presentation of essay ideas. Have your intro & conclusion completed and woven into your presentation with your visual media in Tech.

Social Studies:

• Due Fri., 1/14:
  • Group 1: Rehearse your part for MLK influences skit in All-School.

Science:

• Quiz Fri., 1/14: Quiz on Darwin and the Theory of Evolution. Study using your notes and the Review Sheet handed out in class

Spanish:

• Completa sopa de letras/búscapalabras

Moment of Zen:

  • (Re)Read "Tolstoy and Gandhi's Law of Love" and write a 1¶ summary of key points.

• Quiz Wed., 1/12: Quiz on Darwin and the Theory of Evolution. Study using your notes and the Review Sheet handed out in class

  • All students are to have their own protractor and centimeter ruler.
• Grade 8:
  • Due Tues., 1/11: Complete 1.1 and 1.1 Follow-Up (do not do #3 of follow-up) on p. 6-7 of Growing³ PLUS #12 on p. 13.
  • All students are to have a calculator.

Language Arts:
