- Yoga Fridays - For the Fridays until February break, the Prisms should bring comfortable clothing for yoga class in the afternoon, and a mat if you have it. Last week we had enough mats for everyone if the two groups shared, but you may want to label your mat if you want to get the same one back.
- Eighth Grade Project resource page up, including project deadlines through Jan. 12 and downloadable documents. Page will be updated as I get new information.
Math:
- Grade 7:
- Due Tues., 1/11: Complete 2.1 on p. 16 of Stretching and Shrinking according to directions given in class.
- All students are to have their own protractor and centimeter ruler.
- Grade 8:
- Due Tues., 1/11: Complete 1.1 and 1.1 Follow-Up (do not do #3 of follow-up) on p. 6-7 of Growing3 PLUS #12 on p. 13.
- All students are to have a calculator.
Language Arts:
- Due Fri., 1/14: Complete written intro & conclusion for oral presentation
- Rehearse your presentation
Social Studies:
- Due Tues., 1/11:
- Group 1 paraphrases Thoreau, excerpts 2 & 3
- Group2 paraphrases Tolstoy, excerpt 2.
Science:
- Quiz Wed., 1/12: Quiz on Darwin and the Theory of Evolution. Study using your notes and the Review Sheet handed out in class
