Homework -- 5/4

NOTE: Students are to always have their current independent reading book with them in school. They should be reading for 20 minutes daily in their independent reading book. Language Arts Note: Have L.A. journal in class with you all the time. Assigned today: Due Tuesday, 5/5, ask an adult that you know well what they know - or think they know - about Emily Dickinson. Record what they know in a bulleted list in L.A. journal. Be ready to share in class. Previously assigned/still due: None Math Assigned today: 7th Grade: For Tuesday, 5/5, study problem #22 (all parts) to prepare for quiz tomorrow. Due Wednesday, 5/6, complete Math's Mate Term 3, Sheet 7. 8th Grade: For Tuesday, 5/5, study problems 22-27 to prepare for quiz tomorrow. Due Wednesday, 5/6, complete Math's Mate Term 2, Sheet 7. 8th Grade Project
  • Write something everyday in your journal (except weekends, unless otherwise arranged with advisor): entries should be dated and focused on how your independent project is going, your feelings about it, challenges, successes.
  • Journals are turned in every Friday morning (onto Marc's table). If we do not have school on Friday, they are turned in at the end of the day on Thursday.
Materials Needed for Homework to be Taken Home:
  • 8th grade - L.A. journal (for project entry)
  • MCAS problems (for Math review)
  • L.A. journal
  • Social Studies handout on "U.S. History of the 19th Century"
