General Announcements:
  • If you ever notice something missing or wrong on the blog, comment to let me know about it - I don't always have the whole picture. -Grace
  • Fridays: Hip-Hop Dance - The Prisms' next PE unit will be hip-hop dance class on Friday afternoons. Students need to wear or bring comfortable clothes and shoes for class.
  • Download Ukulele Club documents (links fixed) here.
  • Eighth Grade Project resource page updated 1/24, including project deadlines through the end of February and downloadable documents. Page will be updated as I get new information.

Math:
    Grade 8
  • Due Wed., 4/13:
    • Complete 4.3 on p. 45 and 4.3 Follow-up and #2 on p. 47. Use the properties of triangles we discussed today to help you solve.
    • Retest Wed., 4/13: Unit retest for Growing3 during math class.
    Grade 7
  • Due Wed., 4/13:
    • Complete 1.4 on p. 11 if not completed in class. Also, do #14 on p.18.

Language Arts:
  • All
    • Due Thurs., 4/14: Read Ch. 5 and 6 is Nonna's Book of Mysteries. In LA journal, write reactions and questions on a page of journal. Include some for each of the two chapters read. Be ready to share in a discussion.

Social Studies:
  • Due Thurs., 4/14: Finish reading handout about scholarship in the Golden Age of Islam, p. 26-35. Highlight or underline main ideas in the text.

Science:
  • Due Thurs., 4/14: Summarize "From Limestone to Mortar" and be sure to explain the 3 key steps.
