General Announcements:

• Fri., April 8: Frisbee team organizational meeting at 3:15 in the River Classroom
• Fridays: Hip-Hop Dance - The Prisms' next PE unit will be hip-hop dance class on Friday afternoons. Students need to wear or bring comfortable clothes and shoes for class.
• Download Ukulele Club documents (links fixed) here.
• Eighth Grade Project resource page updated 1/24, including project deadlines through the end of February and downloadable documents. Page will be updated as I get new information.

  • Complete 3.3, 3.3 Follow-up, and #20 on p. 37-38. You will need dot paper.

Grade 7
• Due Mon., 4/11:
  • Complete 1.2 on p. 7 if not completed in class. Do Follow-up on p. 7-8. You will need the data from our spinner game in class today.

New Alien Mineral

Wassonite, a sulfur-titanium compound, was recently discovered in small amounts in a meteorite unearthed in Antarctica. While not a new element, wassonite still represents a compound never examined on Earth before, and which exhibits a never before seen crystalline structure in the way it's formed.
