You must have an independent reading book every day. If you are getting close to the end of one, have the next one at school and ready to go. Math: 7th & 8th Grade:
  • Due Thurs., 11/12: Math's Mates, Term 1, Ex. 8. No need to turn in corrections for 1.7 this week, but you should start 1.8 with the numbers you missed on 1.7. As always, show work for * problems on a separate sheet of white, lined paper.
  • Fri., 11/13: Term 1 test for Math's Mates
Social Studies:
  • Due Thurs., 11/12: Empire of Alexander the Great Map Activity
Science:
  • None assigned
Language Arts:
  • Due Thurs., 11/12: Finish Goddess of Yesterday
    1. Read to the end of the book (Chs. 14-17, 44 pages or about 15 pages/day)
    2. For each chapter, on white, lined paper, compose a chapter title. In one or two sentences, explain why you chose that title. Quality is expected.
  • Due Thurs., 11/12: Significant progress made on knitting a hat or scarf for buddies' project. Have in school and at home. See Grace and/or Jane before school or at lunch time before Wed. for assistance, if needed.
  • Musicians playing with Nick will be rehearsing on Thursday from 12:45-1:25. Bring your instruments!
Moment of Zen:
I cannot overstate how amusing this collection of old photos is
