NOTE: Students are to always have their current independent reading book with them in school. They should be reading for 20 minutes daily in their independent reading book.
Language Arts
Note: Have L.A. journal in class with you all the time.

Previously assigned/still due: Due Wednesday, 4/15, type the first draft of a narrative poem (tells a story) based on a conversation with an elder at Hampshire Care. Send this to yourself so you can access it easily at school.
Math
Reminder: Everyone must have their own calculator at school.
Assigned today: 7th Grade: Due Wednesday, 4/15, complete p. 96 begun in class. Show all computations. Use the formulas we learned and use substitution to solve the problems. This is a review for the unit test on Thursday (Covering and Surrounding). 8th Grade: Due Wednesday, 4/15, do 4.3 on p. 45 and 4.3 follow-Up and #2 on p. 47. This is a review for the test later this week (Looking for Pythagoras).

8th Grade Project
- Write something everyday in your journal (except weekends, unless otherwise arranged with advisor): entries should be dated and focused on how your independent project is going, your feelings about it, challenges, successes.
- Journals are turned in every Friday morning (onto Marc's table). If we do not have school on Friday, they are turned in at the end of the day on Thursday.
