General Announcments:

• Mondays: Wear or bring comfortable clothes for PE.
• There is no school for students tomorrow, Friday, March 14.

Math:

• 7th Grade:  No homework tonight
• Today you got back some scored work from the last two weeks:
• tessellation exercise
• scaled drawing of your math text book
• your Quiz on similar figures
• We spent the rest of the class time making an entry in your rule book (What are Transformations?), and there was so time to do additional practice.

8th Grade:

• Grace's Group
• Due Tuesday, 6/18: Finish packet begun in class today, including 6.4 practice on the back, #1-6 only. None of your answers should contain decimals.
• John's Group: 
• due Tuesday, Mar 18:  p.536, #4,5,9, 21 practice
• We finished completing the square and deriving the Quadratic formula. Tonight's practice is to use this formula to find the exact roots of some quadratic equations.
• Question: what do you call an equation that has an x^3 in it? an x^4?

Humanities:

• All
• Reading log assignment #9 due Thursday
• Grade 7

Science:   
Today, Mar 17, you and your partner were to give me copies of your data sheet (including time and speed data) AND your calculations of error and whether you found a significant difference between each level's average speed!

Tomorrow we will go over how we use this data to draw scienctific conclusions about our results, and what it means for our hyothesis!
