- We need tissues! Cold season is upon us and we need nice tissues for sore noses. If every Prism family donated one box of tissues, that would almost certainly get us through the worst of tissue season.

Moment of Zen:
yesterdays science was the ecosystem, not the ecology of the river. >:)
ReplyDeleteI think I got it wrong yesterday - the ones I saw today said "Ecosystem" but hopefully John gave you the right info today.
ReplyDeleteCan you confirm which it should be?
so for 8th grade math do we do our work on separate paper? or the one jane gave us with space for the table ?
ReplyDeleteMaiela - The table goes on the graph paper in those spots, but you're writing out the work you do to find your table values on separate paper.
ReplyDeleteEx:
if the equation were y=-4x+1 (it isn't),
you would find the values to go in the table like this:
y=-4x+1 (original equation)
y=-4(-1)+1 (equation with given x-value substituted for x)
y=4+1 (solved -4(-1) )
y=5 (solved 4+1)
This gives me the pair (-1, 5) to put in the table and graph.
