Homework -- 3/3

The Prisms' Coffeehouse will happen Friday, March 6 from 7-9:30 at the Williamsburg Grange. Language Arts Assigned today: Due Wednesday, 3/4: (Revise plot outline.) Complete "Bone Structure of [Main] Character." Previously assigned/still due: None Math Reminder: As of Monday, 1/12, everyone must have their own calculator at school, as you cannot borrow one from Jane. Assigned today: 7th Grade: Due Wednesday, 3/4, do 5.3 on p. 50 according to directions AND 5.3 Follow-Up. (Trace 5.3 Follow-Up figure onto separate paper.) Place in bin. 8th Grade: Due Wednesday, 3/4, do 1.3 on p, 11. Do each part of the problem - A, B, C, D park designs - on a separate Euclid grid. Use colored pencils strategically. Also, record coordinates for all vertices of each park design. (Looking for Pythagoras). Previously Assigned/still due: 7th and 8th Grades: None Note: When needed, you can always get grid paper for graphing from the internet. Social Studies Assigned today: None Previously Assigned/still due: None Science Assigned today: For Thursday, 3/5, read handout, 19.2 "the Human body as a Machine," pp. 415-420.   • L.A. Journal
  • 8th graders: Math book and binder
  • 7th graders: Math book and binder, and handout
  • L.A. "Bone Structure..." handout
  • Science handout: "the Human body as a Machine"
