Homework -- 3/17

Language Arts Assigned today: Due Thursday, 3/18, write for 30 minutes on your short story. Previously assigned/still due: None Math Reminder: Everyone must have their own calculator at school. Assigned today: 7th Grade: Due Wednesday, 3/18, do 7.1 on p. 70. Do not use formula. (Use strategies from the past to find perimeters of irregular shapes.) Estimates are to be accurate - not just from "eye-balling." Measures are to be in table format (Covering and Surrounding). 8th Grade: Due Wednesday, 3/18, #13 through #21 on p. 141. Be sure to turn in p. 140 homestudy with p. 141's on Wed. (Use the "Key" made Monday and/or Monday's homestudy as resources.) (Looking for Pythagoras). Previously Assigned/still due: 7th: Math's Mate Term 3, Sheet 2 due Wednesday, 3/18. 8th: Math's Mate Term 3, Sheet 2 due Wednesday, 3/18. Note: When needed, you can always get grid paper from the internet.   • L.A. journal (for short story writing), and short story materials
  • 8th grade - L.A. journal (for project entry)
  • Math book and binder, grid paper
  • Math's Mate
